Bruno values recognition and fame he was personally offended when Noel Niihashi failed to recognize him even though he knew who she was, and took on the mission to detain and execute Balgo because the one who does so will have their name remembered in Reverse London for all of history compounding this, he was willing to temporarily delay Balgo's elimination solely so he could take on and exterminate Cinderella, a Märchen, because doing so would provide him with more recognition than any other opponent ever could.
